This collection of audio recordings was made during a celebration of the history of Boulder Hot Springs. Included is a walking tour, and presentations and reminiscences re the various owners and businesses located on the site of the hot springs from the 1880s until 1996 [Hotel May; Boulder Hot Springs Hotel, or Boulder Springs Hotel; Diamond S Ranchotel and Hot Springs]. Presentations include a Native American prayer in the Blackfeet language by George Goodstriker, current Hot Springs staff members Scott Cantor, Barb Reiter, and Betty Polczynski; and short oral reminiscences by former and present Boulder residents Cyd Slattery, Jack Chamberlain, R. "Vern" McCullough, Jim Strom, June Richardson, Bill Whalen and Rhandi Rachlis. Topics include the 1935 Helena earthquake and the use of the Hot Springs as an orphanage; local musicians who performed at the hot springs; and long time local residents such as "Daddy" Reeves.
